Paul is a Business Transformation, People Leadership & Organisational Development Professional with more than 20 years experience of successfully executing strategically important, politically sensitive and operationally complicated roles in the education, skills & innovation sectors which have had a significant impact and achieved clear, proven & high level outcomes.

He has led the delivery of programmes under the European Commission's Innovation & Enterprise Action Framework; played a key role in the successful constitution, business development and strategic positioning of 25 new UK-wide sector Skills Councils; provided the lead on a range of initiatives to strengthen employer engagement with the Higher & Further Education sectors to both improve the supply of relevant workplace and business skills and increase performance and productivity across the UK economy; & negotiated a series of high level UK-wide strategic partnering arrangements with Local Government, the Voluntary and Community Sector, the Engineering & Construction Sectors, &, the Teacher Training Agency amongst others.

He also has a background in facilitating Train The Trainer Programmes for Local Government; lecturing on economic development and enterprise trends with SAUS (School of Advanced Urban Studies) Bristol, INLOGOV (Institute of Local Government) Birmingham, &, CLES (Centre for Local Economic Studies) Manchester; as well as developing National Occupational Standards and leading the work which undertook a fundamental review of Occupational & Functional Standards for both Local & Central Government that reset the Government's Skills Strategy for the following decade; & leveraging national & European funding to underwrite innovative development programmes with a real ROI.

Over the past 12 months Paul has had the opportunity to build on a passion for working with people with employment difficulties, which he has had since the mid-1980's when he set-up and ran a very successful 350 place community based employment support scheme. Through the
Individual Excellence strand of the business he has developed Personal Professional Re-branding, Career Review and Advocacy, & Presentation and Interview Skills Coaching Support packages and has already achieved excellent results with over 560 individuals coming from a range of sectors and business networks.

He holds a Further and Adult Education Teacher's Certificate & trained as a Master Coach to deliver the Real Change Leaders Programme across local government in a unique & innovative partnership with the Industrial Society.
