The Mudd Partnership supports sectors both to identify their responses to the leadership challenges faced and to implement support for those working there.

Health and Social Care Integration
We are currently involved in work to support the move towards the integration of Health and Social Care. Activities include the facilitation of senior team development events to explore options and possibilities, coaching individuals and teams and specific team development.
Social Services Learning Networks
As a response to the challenges identified in the Changing Lives report for Scotland’s Social Service Sector, the Government established a stream of work to support the sector in further developing its leadership capabilities. The Mudd Partnership worked closely with the Learning Networks in an advisory capacity with regard to how the workforce might be best supported to meet the ongoing leadership challenges. In addition to a range of specialist workshops, one methodology which the sector agreed would benefit leaders and managers was the use of Action Learning Sets.
Until the demise of the Learning Networks in 2011, the Mudd Partnership established and facilitated seven Action Learning Sets for leaders and managers working across Tayside, Perth and Kinross, Fife, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. These two hour peer support and challenge sessions which run over a period of approximately 6 weeks are extremely successful. They gave participants a safe space to explore different approaches to challenges and to receive ongoing support from each other as they move forward in implementing these approaches.
